This assignment is for (History of Ecology & Environment)

I need this assignment ( within 27 hours)

Please write an Analytical Research Essay: and follow the instructions (within 3 to 4 day)

Length: 1100-1375 words (approximately 4-5 pages depending on text size and margins), 11- or 12-point text, double-spaced, grammar-checked, spell-checked

The purpose of this essay is to explore in more historical and scientific detail a “happy environmental story” of 2018 as identified by Basten Gokkon of the Mongabay environmental news site  Several of the stories relate to historical case studies discussed in Mark Barrow’s book Nature’s Ghosts: Confronting Extinction from the Age of Jefferson to the Age of Ecology (I deleted the ones that lack either clear links or extensive supporting detail):

  1. More protection for wildlife corridors
  2. Rhinos get a fighting chance
  3. Pics show it did happen
  4. Power to the people
  5. Good news for coastal ecosystems
  6. Set it and protect it

Be aware: most  stories have more than one story inside it.>> chose only one

Choose one of the specific stories addressed within one of the six uncrossed-out categories to write about, and then use at least THREE academic sources in addition to the relevant hyperlinks that provide deeper historical and scientific context for your specific news story. At least one of your academic/peer-reviewed sources should date back by at least 10 years, to 2008 (note that this is a very modest definition of “historical”).

A note about the research process: It is fine to consult Google, Wikipedia, Google Scholar, and other general online search engines and encyclopedias at the start of your research process, but recognize that they are only limited tools.

Recommended Essay Structure:

I. Title: Start with an interesting, appropriate, attention-getting title.

II. Introduction: Use the introductory section (1-2 paragraphs) to briefly describe the specific news story, and how it relates to specific material in Barrow’s book Nature’s Ghosts.

III. Body: The body of the essay (3-4 paragraphs) will feature your discussion of the following questions using the additional sources. Using appropriate details, discuss each of the following points:

  1. How have ecologists or other environmental scientists contributed to identifying or resolving the issue, and how have local people and/or others without scientific training participated (if at all) in the success story?
  2. What have been the greatest challenges to resolving this problem, and why? How have broader political, economic, and/or cultural circumstances affected the issue?

IV. Conclusion: Use the concluding section (1-2 paragraphs) to discuss how likely this “happy” story is to continue over the next 10-20 years—in other words, to briefly address what kinds of political and economic commitments might be needed to guard against backsliding—and to reiterate any other important new insights developed as a result of this case study.

V. Works Cited: The text of the paper must include either footnotes or in-text citations for any material you have borrowed from another source—both your own paraphrasings and direct quotations—and the end of the paper will list your full sources (either Chicago, MLA, or APA style) in alphabetical order according to author last names. Papers missing citations will not be accepted.

I uploaded 8 chapters of the book (Nature’s Ghosts by Mark v. Barrow, JR) I hope they can help

Note: make sure that the paper has:

1. (Title & Introduction) Exceptional, inventive, concise introduction which catches reader’s interest and provides a clear sense of what to expect.

2. (Body) Utilizes interesting, specific, factually-correct points of evidence to support a focused, thoughtful analysis of all the questions asked.

3. (Conclusion) Ends with a strong, thoughtful analytical response and concluding overview, which leaves an impact on the reader.

4. (Organization) Presents content in a logical, flowing sequence with a well-developed beginning, middle, and end.

5. (Style, mechanics, and citations) Nice job proofreading and citing sources.
