Marks Allocated: 30 points Due Date: Week 10( Final Version)
Online Draft submission in Week 9 (15/5/2020 11.55pm )
Word limit : 1,000 words.
Referencing style: APA 6th edition.
Submission form: Written, submitted online through Turnitin.
Appreciation or application of the IRAC approach to legal case analysis is recommended. The written
assessment will have a word limit of 1000 words.
Students will be required to submit their draft written submission online through Turnitin in Week
9.
Students to submit their final written submission in Week 10 22/5/2020 11.55.pm and may lose
marks for late or no submission of any draft effort by Week 9 15/5/2020 11.555pm
In the event there are issues with Turnitin, this requirement will be disregarded. Students should
ensure they are aware and comply with the requirements of the APA referencing
style(recommended formatting, font requirements, etc.). Student will be required to provide cover
page in their Assessment.
From the list of legal citations below choose any one case and register the case with your lecturer.
All the cases mentioned are from Breach of Directors Duties. You are required to read the case from
austlii.edu.au.
Rewrite your answers in your own understanding under IRAC format.
Copy paste of any part of an online case will result in zero allocation of marks.
There is no need for any academic citations in this Assessment and hence you should not refer them
in this Assessment.
Once you have submitted your draft you will be provided with a written feedback from your lecturer to
improve your draft and you must incorporate those written comments in your final draft to be marked
for grades.
