amount of stress for caregivers and family as often they issing for them is a system where have friend who has just developed Adult e ile What is ni huge aims to also relieve a they can go for a walk or out for the day with This app the person are worried 24/7 especially when with epilepsy goes out on their own. Once I came u with this idea it was suggested that this app may have many other uses eg in domestic violence 13-* ,ituations.
Description* Helpme Alarm App: A phone app connected to a device, pendant or watch that when activated connects to the mobile phone and calls apreset number, ambulance or police. A person who suffers from epilepsy and feels a seizure coming (which they often can) they could press a button on a device that is warn on the wrist or hung round the neck. When they press the button and it connects to their phone to call for help. Press once to call home press twice (or hold) to call ambulance. Sort of like an auto dial on the phone but when people have seizures it is too hard to get the phone out and dial a number. When the button is, pushed not only will a call be made but agoogle maps could show where the person is.
St Johns does this, but it is only for use around the home and I think another company might be doing something similar but it’s expensive.
This could be used for all sorts of medical applications or even in domestic violence or personal, where someone could be called for help with the press of a button???
In domestic violence the person could press the button without the abuser knowing.
Objectives and Goals*
This app would have a huge range of applications especially where people need help. The objectives would be to develop the app and determine whet-6 an app like this could be used.
Technical or other Constraints*
This will be an app that is built for Lifespan Trust, a not for profit registered charity. I do not know about the development of the button or watch device?
As from previous app development, I would be happy if the app was built for Android and I will take it to IOS format.
Thank you for this opportunity and I look forward
