- Preparing the report: a. Use a report format suitable for the purpose. Use the template provided as a guide. i. Linespacing 1.5 ii. Use meaningful heading and subheadings
b. Provide a discussion of the issues identified, especially focusing on Terrill’s leadership i. Relate these issues to the theories and concepts you learnt ii. Provide references when necessary.
c. Analysing the issues i. Identify the current leadership style and source of power to describe the leadership of Terrill and if possible, comment on the senior leadership ii. Use at least two different leadership styles in your answer iii. How would you describe the followers (Engineers)? iv. What is the team composition like? v. Provide references when necessary.
d. Provide recommendations i. You should use the situational model in your recommendations, describing the current position and the recommended position to be. ii. Good recommendations are specific and actionable.
Note that the executive summary, title page, table of contents, list of illustrations/tables, references, and appendices are not included in the 2200-word count. The word count could be – 10% of the total.
