[ad_1]
For the journal assignments in this course, you will be relating course concepts to your own personal experiences, sharing personal opinions and viewpoints, and engaging with course concepts and materials at a deeper, more reflective level. By first relating to your own experiences, you will be preparing for a possible future career of serving clients in the psychology field.
Prompt: In addition to formal theories of intelligence, everyone has his or her own informal theory of intelligence. In this journal assignment, referring to scholarly research, think about what your theory of intelligence would be.
The following critical elements must be addressed:
How do you recognize intelligence (or the lack thereof) when you see it? Refer to course concepts in your response. How does your theory conform to formal theories? Relate your response to course theories. What psychometrics—tasks, observations, or questions—would you use to measure intelligence according to your personal theory? Refer to course
concepts and theories in your rationale.
Guidelines for Submission: Submit assignment as a Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins.
