Discussion Forum Engagement and Task:
You are asked to access the Discussion Forum (DF) in LEO, which will open on Friday 28/08/20 at 0900 and will close Monday 14/09/20 at 10pm to discuss the following video:
During or prior to the time that the DF is open, you are asked to view a video (link below) on leadership. The six (6) minute video is a presentation by SafeWork Australia titled: ‘A healthy and safe workplace starts with leadership’.

While the DF is open you are encouraged to engage in online discussions with your peer students on at least three different dates, and as many other times as you choose to discuss the influence of leadership in employee wellbeing and how you would implement an employee wellbeing program.
Written Submission Task
Based upon your discussions in the DF you are asked to choose one of your postings from the group discussion forum on the role of leadership in employee wellbeing and how you would implement an employee wellbeing program. Your submission must be formatted into one scholarly and logical essay, supported by literature for submission via Turnitin.
You will need to support your submission with at least six (6) peer-reviewed, credible and recent (within the past five years) journal articles, as well as textbook/s to help you deepen and expand your analysis on the application of leadership principles for this assessment task.
Due date for submission: Monday 21/09/2020 by 23:59 pm
Weighting: 20%
Length and/or format: 1000 words (+/- 10%)
Purpose: Sharing ideas with other students in a Discussion Forum will encourage you to gain further understanding of the way in which effective leadership can influence the health and wellbeing of those whom they lead.
