This paper must be focused on geriatric patients with breast cancer only. 65 years or older ONLY. Must write well about breast cancer pathophysiology from the cellular level! Labs/Diagnostics – describe labs/diagnostics not only for the initial diagnosis, but also for tests that would need to be run as the person lives with the disease for a period of time. Think about how the disease effects the other body systems and what testing would be needed to check on this. Labs/diagnostics should be described at the cellular level as much as possible. It’s helpful to include normal vs abnormal results and any target levels according to standards of care.
Goals of therapeutic management – Talk about some of the meds/integrative therapies used to treat the disease. You do not need to go into a lot of detail about these, You want to discuss any standards of care, health promotion/risk reduction interventions. Think about those modifiable risk factors you described previously. Don’t forget age appropriate vaccinations! What are the expected outcomes as a result of the therapeutic management?
