You are to produce your own Visual Diary to record your personal thoughts and visual explorations based on the topics you have learnt. The Visual Diary is representing of your personal preferences, taste, hobbies, collections, research, various design information, experimentation and design ideas from various stages with relevant samples.

INSTRUCTIONS
- The visual diary is to be compiled in a booklet format. The size of the booklet is up to you or as per advised by your course instructor, but A4 size is recommended for ease of digitization.
- Information and materials that have been collected in the Visual Diary have to heavily depend on your own personal preference and design style.
- Your visual diary must contain all of the topics listed below.
- Text: you are to use your own words and write in simple English. No direct copy of
text from the internet, unless it’s a definition of terms and you must cite your
reference.
- Images: you are allowed to include images from the internet as references but you
must cite your reference. Whenever possible, do visual explorations through e.g. sketches, mind mapping, color visuals and/or idea development for each topic. Your visual diary can contain the following: illustration, typography, drawings, photography, personal collection, personal experimentation, latest design news/trends, things/materials in trend, your personal thoughts about design.
