Blood vessels are lined by single layered squamous epithelium tissue called endothelium .
Other than arteries and veins there are capillaries. Squamous epithelium of capillary has pores in basement membrane and and these pores are called fenestrations . These pores allow WBCs to travel between blood and tissue fluid by amoeboid movement called diapedesis .
