1. Peer Evaluation of Assessment Skills (2 points)
This purpose of this activity is to provide the students an opportunity to practice health assessment skills and to evaluate each other’s skills.
Instructions:
- 1) The student will perform a comprehensive health assessment and be evaluated by a peer (using the Comprehensive
Health Assessment Grading Rubric). The evaluator will provide three strengths and three weaknesses to improve
student performance.
- 2) The students will switch roles and complete the same activity.
- 3) Both students will upload their own completed evaluation report through Blackboard.
- 4) The instructor will grade the student’s evaluation report using Peer Evaluation Rubric (below).

2. ISBARR (3 points)
The purpose of this project is to practice formulating and delivering patient report to other health professionals using the ISBARR format
Instructions:
- Find an article on ISBARR (SBAR), summarize, and reflect on how it can be used in communicating assessment findings.
Summarize your research on ISBARR/SBAR and cite your reference/s in no less than 500 words.
- View this video: https://youtu.be/CZ9M-2UdODg and watch the nurse performs the assessment.
- Using the ISBARR format, formulate a report to a licensed health care provider as if you were the nurse in the video.
- Submit your completed work in Blackboard.
