My first goal following my graduation at Zayed University is getting my Masters
degree. I plan on obtaining my Masters in Climate Change (Msc) from University
College London in London, the United Kingdoms. The reason why I think it’s
important for me to pursue this goal is because it will help in widening my knowledge
on my specialty which is environmental science. Not only that, but I believe that it
will be of great value on my cv and will enable me to be different from other
candidates. In addition to this, I chose to study abroad and more specifically in
London for its prestigious educational reputation as well as its diverse multi-cultural
environment. Moving out of the country will also be a great experience as it will teach

me essential skills in life such as independence, problem-solving, as well as creativity.
As for the requirements for this goal, university-wise they’ll be needing a Bachelors
of Environmental Science and adequate English standards and moving abroad will
require money for the housing and living expenses. I plan on saving personal money
every month for these costs as well as maintaining a high GPA to earn a scholarship
after graduation.
My second goal after getting my Masters degree is coming back to the UAE and
volunteering as well as working for about 7 years. The point of this goal is to build
experience gradually. First by volunteering which normally does not have many rigid
requirements, then by working in different positions relating to environmental
science. The requirements as well as job examples will be discussed in the career
openings section.
