Each student is responsible for an oral presentation on an infectious disease.
Create a PowerPoint presentation with 12-15 slides. Your audience is the health community. The information in the presentation needs to be relevant. See the rubric for presentation grading criteria.
- Must be an infectious disease topic. Try to be specific and not so general such as a topic on flesh eating bacteria [better topic is Aeromonas hydrophila pathogenicity as a flesh eating bacterium]. Try to not duplicate a classmate’s topic.
- Must include data from at least 1 peer-reviewed article (primary research). You could obtain your article from NU Library: http://library.nu.edu/, Google Scholar, PubMed (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/), etc.
- Must have at least 5 other credible resources. Do NOT use Wikipedia, Blogs,

- Make a PowerPoint with bullet points of concepts and information obtained from your research. PowerPoint should contain at least 12 slides of information including 1 title slide and 1 reference slide (in APA format). You can have more than 12 slides.
- Write your talk in the note section of the PowerPoint. These notes should contain details from your research and not just general information.
