c count characters from data file

Using this data file, write a code that will display characters from a middle of the string …
Example 44’10’8 , 44’09’2 44’08’2. I want a code where it will display the ’10’ and ’09’ from a data file, and it will not display 44’08’2.
So, like the 09 and 10 and 08 versions can have different numbers at the end.. . like 44105,44094 etc.. so make sure you only count the 10,09,and 08 characters.
Zoom through the course.dat file and look for integer strings that start with 44, you will see what i mean when it has multiple numbers at the end. thanks.
