Axel Framework was developed to the BSD license in order to become more open to the public. It can perform different kinds of tasks during page processing and generates XML documents.
Web pages that need to be processed are handled in a very simple way: A set of actions are performed for each document, passing a parameter to each action. These actions are defined in each page and are used later during action calls. The actions are registered with a function in the FXEngine, registering them in some order during initialization. During each execution, the actions are called according to this order.
Installation
The installation of this component is pretty easy:
Axel Framework binaries are distributed with all packages. Download the one you need and unpack it.
Install the JAR as a class in the classes directory of your project, from the command prompt, using “ant install JAR”.
Included in the package is a sample application and the files necessary for installing Axel Framework on your server. For more detailed information on installation, see the installation instructions.
