Complete the following activities to help you prepare for your final Business Plan Project due at the end of the term. Be sure to save a copy of your responses to all BizBuilder Plan Activities each week, so you can easily access them when you are ready to compile them into your final project. (The following parts are a continuation from previous weekly activities and should be incorporated into the appropriate sections of the final Business Plan.)

- Create an organizational chart if it will have more than one employee. (You may use chart wizard tool in Microsoft Word for ease.)
- If you will be hiring employees, list position descriptions & duties, ideal qualifications, and the amount you intend to pay them.
- Will you earn a salary, wage, commission, dividend? Explain your criteria and levels of compensation.
- How will you make your organization a rewarding and positive environment for your employees?
- Describe the corporate governance plan for your organization. Include at least 5 policies (rules) that will be the backbone of your company’s ethics.

- What type of product research are you doing/do you intend to do?
- What type of research exists already in your industry?
- How will you legally protect your IP?
- 6.3 Physical Location
- In greater detail than above, describe the physical space, including a floor plan, drawing or photo.
- What zoning laws apply to your business? Does it comply? Are variances required?
- 6.4 Facilities
- What type of building and equipment will you have?
- Identify which technological tools you plan to use for your organization and explain why.
- How do you plan to get access to these tools you need? (Will you buy/rent/borrow? Calculate the costs. )

- From whom will you purchase the products you intend to sell or the parts you will need to manufacture those products? Illustrate the supply chain.
- If you intend to manufacture the product, describe the process(es) you will use. If not, describe how it will be manufactured elsewhere.
- How will you distribute your product to your target market? Illustrate the production to distribution channel, identifying the mark-ups along the chain.
- What is the estimated delivery time between when you place an order and your supplier has the product available for your customers?
- What methods will you use to ensure the quality of your product/services before it gets to your customers?
- What methods will you use to ensure your company complies with all federal, state, and local tax laws?
- What laws, such as minimum wage, age requirements, OSHA regulations, anti-discrimination laws, will affect your business?
