Your agency director has announced that the agency intends to hire a strategic planning consultant to develop a plan for the agency. The planning session will begin in about 2 months and will involve only executive-level management and consultants.
You have several ideas to propose even though you have not been invited to the event.
How do I develop a proposal that addresses the following?
- Explain the approach to strategic planning as it relates to excluding particular positions within the agency. Determine how this influences the organization’s culture of quality.
- Recommend process changes to be more inclusive and explain how this would affect the philosophy of quality within the organization.
- Explain how you would proceed to have your ideas included and considered, as you were not invited to the planning session
