Assignment – Marketing Plan
This Assignment will develop a marketing plan for the business idea. You will use all your past knowledge, skills, and abilities generated in your Marketing class in the Bachelors of Applied Science degree program.
You will create a Marketing Plan for your new business idea from Week 1 for a (1) new product or service development, (2) market a new business initiative, or (3) strategies to solve a problem with a current organization.
*Consider Marketing implications during this course for your business idea.
Write a marketing proposal of a new business idea. The proposal should be written in the following order:
A. Title Page (include your name, your company’s name, class name, professor, and date)
B. Marketing Industry Summary. Describe your company’s marketing industry and discuss if this industry will have short, medium, and long growth in the next 10 years, why or why not, and the reason you have chosen this industry.
*For example, retail industry, entertainment industry, healthcare industry, transportation industry, etc. describing your product/service. See the Content area for Types of Business Industries.
C. Target Market. Describe the business idea Target Market and provide a detailed marketing analysis including (1) Demographics: gender, age, income level, marital status and (2) Psychographics: personal interest, attitudes, values, desires, and specific behavior. NOTE: Write in complete sentences.
D. Marketing Tools. Describe your business idea major Marketing tool(s) and describe in detail how it will generate customers over a 12-month period.
E. Create SWOT Analysis. Create the four (4) areas of SWOT Analysis – Strengths, Weaknesses (Internal factors) and Opportunities and Threats (External factors) and provide three (3) examples of each area.

F. Reference Page in the APA format.
G. Appendix Page in the APA format.
NOTE: Your Marketing Plan should be creative and original (do not use any ideas or company information from your past BAS courses). Write the Business Marketing Plan in the APA format (with subheaders) and only include information from the instructions.
Assignment requirements
The assignment should be written at a Bachelors’ level. It must be error and grammar free. The business Marketing Plan should be original, and the same business idea should be used in weekly assignments.
