ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTSFor this assignment, you will be thinking as if you are working for the Charleston RiverDogs. They are class A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays located in Charleston South Carolina. The team has gathered information on their fans and they are working hard to recruit new sponsors for the team.You will be creating a sponsor pitch using demographic and psychographic information about fans (See the included fan profile information). It is important that the pitch uses this information to make the case for why they should become a sponsor.Step 1: Select the organization you will be pitching to. Step 2: Examine this organization and industry to better understand what they might be looking for in a sponsorship. Remember that understanding your audience is a critical part of presentation creation.Step 3: Use the fan information to create a pitch the resonates with leaders at the selected company. Make sure that the pitch tells the fan story and relates to the needs of the target organization. DELIVERABLE DUE: Narrated Keynote Presentation – the presentation should be 5 to 8 minutes and include the following.
- An introduction, a pitch and a conclusion
- 5 data visualizations
- Good branding and presentation practices
The pitch should be well rehearsed and professional. Make sure you are using the good presentation skills you learned in Creative Presentations.
