Reinforcement in Operant Conditioning Assignment
In this assignment, you will devise two methods to operantly condition your friend through reinforcement. First, pick a behavior that can be operantly conditioned (i.e. a behavior that can be consciously controlled). Next, describe how you would use either 1) positive reinforcement AND 2) negative reinforcement to increase the occurrence of that behavior. Within your methods you need to also determine the optimal reinforcement schedule that would most quickly increase that behavior and describe why this is so. Finally, determine if this method would produce a lasting effect of increasing the behavior in the long-term.
