Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Narcissistic Personality Disorders : It sounds like we know what it is, just by seeing the Narcissist portion of it. However, there are different types of them. Grandiose & Malignant ones are definitely more noticeable. However, the lesser known Covert NPD can be extra destructive, as their behavioral patterns are even more difficult to decipher even in a trained professional’s presence. These people can be our bosses, coworkers, our mom / dad, or our partners. If we know about them and their symptoms, we can see them coming, and protect ourselves by leaving them ASAP. If we do not know the signs, we can fall in their charm / trap and we could be in a toxic relationship for months and years to come. There are about 5 to 6 % of population that makes up NPD, and that is about 1 in 20 People. So, we most likely KNOW of someone in our lives that carries these symptoms.
