Interviews can be used: You may interview other people with similar specializations.
If you choose to interview someone please document the interview by listing the interview questions and responses.
Develop your thesis: Use the information in Chapter 2 to formulate your thesis. Your thesis is the specific question you will be researching.
Identify germane articles & sources: List the germane articles or other research items available about your area of specialization and the thesis you are researching.
Prepare summaries of germane articles: Summarize the germane articles or other research—your summaries are used in the annotated bibliography.
Prepare annotated bibliography:
Your annotated bibliography does not have to include all of the research sources you reviewed.
Your annotated bibliography must include sources you might use.
Your annotated bibliography may include sources in addition to those you think you might use. This can be a good practice because your abstract and hypothesis could change as you conduct additional research. It is easier to pull in additional sources that reflect a change in focus if you include more of the initial sources you review in your annotated bibliography
Prepare the abstract for your paper: Necessarily, your abstract will reflect only the research completed to date. You will be revising and refining this content throughout the course to reflect the progression of your research

The thesis is the summary statement of that hypothesis
