Thread: After reading the article by Wiggins and McTighe and viewing the presentation by Jay McTighe, both available in this week’s announcements, you will compose 2 paragraphs. The first paragraph should discuss your impressions of the backward design framework and your thoughts on the effectiveness this type of lesson planning design for use in early childhood education.
The second paragraph should explain the overall direction of your own lesson plan based on the “backwards design framework” (Wiggins & McTighe, 2012). State your standards, objectives, and the evidence of learning you are planning to collect.
Replies: Reply to at least 2 colleagues’ threads by responding specifically to their discussion on UBD and their synthesis of UBD in their lesson plan design. Your replies should be at least 1 paragraph in length, and substantive in content.
