An important part of understanding the past is to be able to read and interpret primary documents. The goal of this assignment is to demonstrate that you can interpret and analyze primary documents as well as relate them to overall themes in the course. You will need to read, Vladamir Jabotinsky, Let Us Settle Palestine and Transjordan and “The Arab Response to the Proposed Partition of Palestine.” Both are located in this document.

Your response will be evaluated based on how you demonstrate your understanding of the period, your ability to contextualize the source within the period, and the evidence you provide. The evidence should come from the assigned readings.
