Paper Prompt: Infectious Disease Paper (Syphillis)

Choose an emerging infectious disease and review at least 2 current research articles from scholarly journals, no more than 5 years old, related to your infectious disease. Use the assignment rubric as a framework for a 3-4-page APA style paper (excluding title page and reference page). I WOULD LIKE THE INFECTIOUS DISEASE TO BE (SYPHILLIS)

• Describe current County, State, and Federal statistics and trends related to infectious disease.

• Through discussion of Public Health Nursing role in Primary, Secondary, and tertiary prevention.  Provide nursing interventions identified literature and statistics for success.

• 2 or more recent (within 5 years) scholarly, peer reviewed articles

• Please include an introductory and conclusion paragraph

• Please follow the attached rubric to structure the paper with each category having their own headings in proper APA format. Each question from the rubric categories should be addressed in which if there are multiple topics within one main rubric topic, there shall be subheadings used appropriate in proper APA format
