Final Paper on your pre-approved topic. You will write a 12 – 15 page paper. The paper should reflect research beyond our course text book and provide support for your paper.   Research should include sources from academic journals, books and credible organizational websites.

Additionally, this paper must address and discuss the Saint Leo Core Value of Respect and the CSHSE standards in management and leadership and the historical development of human services.

This paper must have a minimum of 12 pages of content. Correct spelling, grammar, and sentence structure are imperative.  References must be cited correctly with a

reference list included. Paper must follow the American Psychological Association (title page, headings, reference page, Times New Roman font style, 12 point font size, double-spaced). You do not need to include an abstract.

In your presentation you must include a minimum of 10 slides

Important information to include in your slides:

1) Title slide

2) Overview of the management/leadership topic you chose

3) Why you selected your particular topic – personal/professional interest?

4) Connection of your topic and information learned with the Saint Leo Core Value of Respect and the CSHSE standard of the historical development of human services

5-8) Highlights of what you learned in your research that you think would be beneficial to share with your peers

9) Reflection on how you can apply what you have learned to your own best practices of being an effective human services leader or manager

10) References – all references must be cited in proper APA format – can be reference list from final paper
