Nancy Osaka and Carly Edwards created the following feasibility analysis for Supreme Project. The |feasibility study was conducted to mitigate the identified risks. The highlights of the feasibility analysis are as follows: A. Tune Source’s risk on familiarity of music download application is moderately high. The marketing department views this as a strategic system. This web portal will allow Tune Source to leverage their music archive, alongside utilising their well-established market position to maintain a presence in the digital music download business. Existing customers have been requesting such capability and this partnership will help achieve Tune Source’s goals. B. The Marketing department has little experience with a subscription-based business model. C. The IT department has extensive knowledge of the web-based CD sales system but has not worked with downloads or customer subscription programs. D. Numerous music download sites exist, many of their employees have experience as users of these systems. E. The IT department has knowledge of SupremeC, a web-portal with a web-based order entry system and the database as well as the Internet Technology it uses. Though, they have no direct knowledge on how to store and deliver digital music downloads. F. The top executives of both companies have a strong interest in the project. The project champions are both knowledgeable senior business analysts and marketing executives. G. The targeted audience are internet consumers, that are familiar with online services, are expected to appreciate the entry of Tune Source into the music download arena through their web portal. H. Current brick and mortar stores of Tune Source have some concerns about lost CD sales; however, since customers have so many other options available for music downloads, SupremeC will retain current customers to other competitors of digital music sources and may provide Tune Source with opportunities to expand their services to music lovers. MEGA’s partnership with Tune Source has identified the risks as shown above. Using the above report, what types of feasibility analyses can you identify? Describe each feasibility analysis and justify (using the report) why you believe it is that type of analysis. Then, list which of the given points (i.e. ‘A’ to ‘H’) can be classified within your identified feasibility study(ies).
